

Travis Glen Charles was born August 8, 1958 in Kingfisher, OK, the son of Farris and Dixie (Stewart) Charles. He was one of five children, with two brothers and two sisters. He was a graduate of Tahlequah High School in 1976. Not shy of hard work, his main profession in life was landscaping for various companies and nurseries. Billiards was his passion, spending much of his free time at the local pool halls. He was a skilled pool player and brought home many tournament trophies over the years. He took great pride in his Native American heritage and preserving his cultural, creating beautiful native beadwork. He was the life of any party and loved a day hanging out with his friends. This fun-loving and good hearted man passed from this life on Monday, September 22, 2025 in Tahlequah, OK. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Lucy Charles, Charlie and Ernestine Stewart, parents, Farris and Dixie Charles, two brothers, Marty and Marlon Charles and one nephew, Tyler Charles.
He is survived by his two sisters, Staci Crow and husband Ronnie and Lisa Charles, both of Tahlequah, OK as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends and loved ones.
Graveside services for Travis will be held on October 1, 2025 at Price Cemetery with Reverend David Wiens officiating.
