OBITUARY FOR TRAVIS RAY “BUB” SCROGGINS Tahlequah, OK- Memorial services for Travis Ray “Bub” or “Bubby” Scroggins will be held on Saturday, March 21st, 2020 at noon at the Hulbert City Park with his family paying him tribute. If the weather should become an issue, the services will be moved to the Victory House Of Praise on 6th Street in Hulbert, OK. Online condolences for his family may be left at www.reedculver.com. His honorary pallbearers include Kory Wilson, Jacob Duncan, Josh Bird, Jake Roop, William Walker, Studie Matthews and Danny Matthews. Travis Ray Scroggins was born on Friday, April 20th, 1962, in Wagoner, OK, the son of Travis Arlow and Susie (House) Scroggins. He grew up with one brother, Tommy and one sister, Susan, attended school and then began his career in the construction industry as a concrete finisher. He was the proud father of two daughters, Jamie Scroggins and Amanda Scroggins –Duncan. He was a gifted man with talents for raising Champion Pit Bulls and Gaming Chickens. He was a free spirit who never met a stranger, he had an award winning smile that he would flash from time to time. He was always up for a little fishing, and a trip to the casino to see his friends. There was nothing like going back roading with his kids and just enjoying the sunrise or sunset from his own backyard. He liked to go to the kitchen and cook, or at least try, and the grandkids knew that Papa was always going to tease and pull a prank or two just to see them smile. He was a generous man with his time and talents. He was very proud of his Cherokee heritage and the family he raised. Travis passed from this life on Saturday, March 7th, 2020 in Tulsa, OK, at the age of 58 years old. He will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his mother, father and his brother, Tommy Scroggins. Those left to cherish his memory include daughters, Jamie Scroggins and companion Jake Roop and Amanda Duncan and husband Jake of Tahlequah, OK. He leaves one sister, Susan Scroggins of McCloud, OK. He lives on in his grandchildren, Braden MacDonald of Tahlequah, Gabby Stilwell of Tahlequah, Serenitti Perkins of Hulbert, OK, Blake Stilwell of Tahlequah, Kayden Walker of Arkansas, Kiera Wilson of Hulbert, Jayna Duncan of Tahlequah, Addison Walker of Arkansas, Tiernan Scroggins of Muskogee and Tavery Scroggins also of Muskogee. His nieces and nephews include Sara Perkins-Wilson and husband Kory of Hulbert, Shyann Walker and husband William of Arkansas, Terra Scroggins of Muskogee, Steven Leach of San Diego, CA, Studie Matthews of Wagoner, OK, Danny Matthews of Wagoner, OK, Emma Matthews of Wagoner, OK, his Aunt, as well as many cousins and a host of friends and loved ones, too numerous to mention.
