Agnes M. King passed away May 6, 2015 at Big Bend Hospice House. Agnes was born on Sept 6, 1919 in Ironwood, Michigan. Her parents were Michael and Margaret Maurin. She was a registered nurse and trained at St. Mary’s Hospital in Wisconsin. She was director of nurses at Extended Care of TMH for 23 years.
She was predeceased by her brothers and sister, also her husband of 62 years, William Y. King, as well as her daughter, Diane E. King, daughter, Mary Ellen Smith, and her son, John W. King. She is survived by her son, Peter G. King, daughter-in-law, Leslie B. King, grandchildren: Matthew G. King, Stephanie C. King, Nicholas Silverberg, Cherish Frazier, and 3 great grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends for Visitation at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home on Riggins Road Monday, May 11, 2015 from 4-6PM. The Funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 3:30 PM with a Committal following at Oakland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Big Bend Hospice.
