Dear Sally,
I was so taken back to learn of Alexandra's tragic passing. When I heard the news, I remembered back to the one time that I met you at your sister's, and you happened to mention to us how helpful Alex was at home. She must have been around 3 years old at the time. I was impressed that a three year old could be helpful.:)She wasn't with you that time so I never met her, but I feel like I watched her grow up in pictures over the years on your sister's refrigerator. Observing them, I always felt that there was something special about her. I can't imagine that your pain subsides much, but I just wanted to let you know that I'm praying for you and your extended family.  I believe the world is going through birth pangs right now, and many are really suffering. However, I take great comfort more and more as time passes that these innumerable sorrows will finally bring the glorious day when the whole Earth will be full of his glory. And I have no doubt that when God counts and writes up the people in Zion, he will say, “Alex was born there.” God bless you, Sally. Love, from an old friend of your sister's.

It has been 4 months since you left this earth. You still inspire me to hope,to see the best in others, overcome hardships, make the best of any situation, to be adventerous,creative,and genuine.      I miss you!!!  Love...mom

I worked with you on Hayman Island. You were always such a bubbly and happy spirited girl. You will be missed. My heart goes out to her family and Nathan!

Ed & Sally, my lasting memory of Alex will be of her literally glowing - glowing with a love of life and adventure.  Alex will continue to glow - both with Jesus and in everyone she touched.  Those who knew Alex are truly blessed, as are those who didn't know her but will feel the ripples of her life in theirs.  I am truly thankful that Alex was and always will be a part of  our lives. Alex was an amazing, inspirational, loving, caring wonderful friend.  Even though we didn't see much of each other over the past few years, she always had time for our friendship and we picked up where we left off every time...    Alex, I love you and I can't believe you're gone.

I didn't know Alexandra, but saw her the day she died. I hope she rests in peace and I send my thoughts to her family and friends.

Alex made my life here in Bali complete. As opposite as two people could be, we kept each other entertained and had the best of times together. I was so happy to have helped her get home to her family and I know that she would have done the same. She'll be forever a part of my life.

I have been praying for you continually. Praying for the peace that passes any understanding we have and for the strong arms of Christ to hold you.

Ed,  Sally & family,  I am sure the Lord is with you & will help all of you get over this in time . I am glad I got to know her & she was so great of a person to know ! She was a beautiful,  intelligent,  spiritual,  full of life young lady whenever we did talk ! We will miss her dearly ! I will keep all of you in my prayers. ! GOD BE WITH YOU ALL !

Alex was a great friend and thankfully I have many happy memories of her. Our time in Bali was full of laughs. I am so happy to have known her for the (too short) time that I did.

I'm terribly sorry for this tragedy. I am also very grateful to have had Alex in my life. She was a great friend and an incredibly genuine and gracious spirit. I'm so glad I got to know her, we shared a lot of great times in Bali. She'll always be a part of me.

Ed and Sally - Please know that I am praying for you every day. My heart aches for you when I think about your pain, but I trust that the Lord is with you, bringing you comfort and peace. He is good, always.

I didn't know Alexandra, but I taught Joel and keep in touch through FB.  Joel, my deepest condolences go out to you and your family.  If she was anything like you, I know how wonderful she was then.
