

Angelina (Angie) Jorgenson, 80, of Tallahassee, Florida passed away January 21, 2016. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on December 17, 1935, graduated from high school in 1954, and settled in Miami, Florida. She was married to Alan Jorgenson of Virginia, Minnesota on September 15, 1966. After living in Miami for over 40 years, Angie and Alan moved north to Tallahassee, Florida. Angie worked as a secretary in a variety of establishments including legal firms, hospitals, and schools. Angie had a passion for solving puzzles, caring for her grandchildren, and cooking (although she would rarely admit it).
Angie was preceded in death by her parents, Bartholomew Palamara and Angelica Borgia. She is survived by her husband of 49 years; two brothers, Joseph Palmer and Dominick Palamara; children, Ursula Sherwin, Michael Jorgenson, and Diane Morris; ten grandchildren; and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home at 700 Timberlane Road. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with a private family inurnment at MeadowWood Memorial Park following the service.
