Ann Caskey Hollern

A beloved daughter of Lancaster, South Carolina, Ann lived a life marked by faith, compassion, service, and devotion to family. Following the loss of her beloved husband, Thomas M. Hollern, Sr., she looked forward with hope to their joyful reunion in the presence of the Lord.

Known affectionately as Mom, Lefty, Nana, and Ms. Ann, she touched countless lives through her kindness, generosity, and gentle spirit. Whether serving others as a radiologic technologist, nurse, and caregiver, or simply offering encouragement and friendship, Ann reflected Christ's love in all she did.

Her greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, cherished aunt, and faithful friend. She instilled in her family a love of adventure, gratitude for life's blessings, and the conviction to pursue excellence in all things.

Though proud of her South Carolina roots, Ann made a home wherever life led her and her husband, especially in Tallahassee, Florida, and the mountains of Cashiers, North Carolina. She also cherished her beloved Spaniels and Scottish Terriers.

Ann is survived by her children, Thomas M. Hollern, Jr. (son), daughter-in-law, Karen Hollern, Erin Pickard (daughter), son-in-law, Matthew Pickard, Matthew P. Hollern (son), and daughter-in-law, Kendra Hollern; her grandchildren, Brianna Elizabeth Pickard, Connor Shea Pickard, Joseph Thomas Hollern, Adalay Annmarie Hollern, and Mattie Ashby Hollern; and her niece, Margret Ann Flow, and great-niece, Faith Marie Flow.

Ann leaves a legacy of faith, resilience, kindness, and unwavering love. Her family rejoices in the promise of Christ's resurrection and finds comfort knowing she rests in God's eternal peace.

Memorial Service Celebration of Life will be held October 2, 2026 at 6:00 p.m., Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, Florida. A Funeral Mass will be held October 3, 2026 at 11 a.m., St. Louis Catholic Church, Tallahassee, Florida.
