Rev. Arthur "Skip" Leonard Lefler Jr.

He was born September 30, 1950 in Greensboro, North Carolina. After being raised and graduating from high school in Greensboro, he attended college at the University of North Carolina and received a Master of Science in Library and Information Studies from Florida State University. Skip was an ordained minister for the United Pentecostal Church for more than thirty five years. He served as Assistant Pastor for churches in Beckley, West Virginia; Tallahassee, Florida; and Blountstown, Florida. Skip worked for the State of Florida for nearly twenty years most recently as Operations Management Consultant Manager.

Skip is survived by his wife of 37 years, Wilma Lefler; daughters Libby, Sarah, and Becky. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren and his sister, Diana Alexander.

The Wake will be held July 14, 2011 from 6pm until 8pm at Soul's Port United Pentecostal Church, 9301 Mahan Dr. Tallahassee, Fl 32309. A memorial service will be held July 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. also at Soul's Port United Pentecostal Church.
