Benjamin Aninakwa

Born on January 28, 1947 in Tamale, Ghana to the late Samuel Kwasi Aninakwa and Elizabeth Amma Ohenewaa. Benjamin lived a life marked by strength, wisdom, and kindness. He touched the lives of many through his generosity, dedication to family, and enduring friendships. He will be remembered for his warm spirit, thoughtful guidance, and the love he shared with those around him.

Benjamin’s life was a testament to perseverance and compassion. He leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and lasting influence on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he enriched. Though he has departed from this world, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him. Benjamin is survived by his Loving wife of 49 years, Patience Aninakwa; his children, Emmanuel Aninakwa, Elizabeth Aninakwa (Joseph Osam-Pinanko), and Christina Aninakwa (Filiberto Asare-Akuffo); his grandchildren, Joseph, Annalise, Adeline, Jude Osam-Pinanko, Ivy, Bennett, Carter, and Evan Asare-Akuffo. His siblings, Dr. George Ntiri, Patricia Laryea, Samuel Yaw Aninakwa, Theresa Bonah, Jackie Aninakwa, and Samuel Aninakwa; also a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws

Visitation will be held Friday, July 24, 2026 from 6pm-8pm at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Road, Tallahassee, Florida. A celebration of Benjamin’s life will be held on July 25, 2026 at Meridian Woods Church of Christ in Tallahassee, Florida at 11am, with burial to follow at 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, FL 32312.
