

It is with sadness that the family of Betty Harvey announces her passing on March, 4 at 99 years of age. Betty was born in St. Johns, Newfoundland on July 21, 1923 to George and Margaret Picco Tucker. She came to the United States in 1943 to make a home in Tallahassee and to await the return of her soldier husband.
She will be remembered by her children, Margaret Parmer (Wayne) and Billy Harvey (Shirley). Her grandchildren Jeffrey Wayne Parmer (Rita), and Emily Jane Johnson. Great grandchildren, Jeremy Wayne Parmer (Carly), Amy Ann Roddenberry (Kyle), Billy Lee Johnson, Kristin Elizabeth Johnson. Great great grandchildren Nathan James Roddenberry, Chloe Ann Roddenberry, Ridge Wayne Parmer, Enlee Harper Johnson and Jackson William Sellers who will join the family in August. She is also survived by a special sister-in law and dear friend Louise Barineau along with many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert Malcom Harvey, her parents and her six siblings, Selina, Alice, Sarah, Gordon, Hubert and Isabelle.
She was a member of Chaires United Methodist Church and the oldest living member. A visitation and service are scheduled for March 9 beginning at 1:00 pm at Culley's Chapel, Riggins Road with private burial to follow.
