Betty J Reeves

Betty married Vernon Reeves in 1956. They were married until his death in 1992.

Betty was a two-time cancer survivor. She was a resident of Mulligan Park where she made many friends and enjoyed the fellowship and the activities.

Betty retired from Bank of America and Avis Car Rentals. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Woodville, Florida, and active in many church activities.

She loved going to the beach, fishing and being with her family, especially her grands and her three great-granddaughters.

Betty is survived by: her daughter, Kaye Reeves Kelley (Dean); granddaughter, Brooklyn K. Layton (Matt); grandson, Brandon “Bo” Kelley (Tarah); great-granddaughters, Presley Kelley, Kinsey Layton and Kynlee Layton.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon W. Reeves; son, Glenn W. Reeves; father, Fred Kinsey; mother, Margie Roger; brother, Charles F. Kinsey; sister, Laura Nell Smith and great-grandson, Reeves Bennett Layton.

Graveside service will be 4 PM, Friday, April 5, 2024 at New Hope Cemetery, 7037 Springhill Road, Tallahassee, Florida. Public visitation will be from 5 PM to 7 PM, Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32308.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in care of Betty’s honor to Big Bend Hospice.
