Betty Lou Tricquet, 80, of Tallahassee died Monday (4/17) at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare. A native of Paducah, Kentucky she came to Tallahassee in 1959. Betty was a very giving person and spent much of her time committed to her church, St. Peter’s Anglican Church, where she was a member of the Daughters of the King. She also devoted time to the Girl Scouts. Betty was a nurse and had retired from Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare where she had been the head nurse in the operating room.
Survivors include her son: Robert of Tallahassee; brother: Morris Beyer of Paducah, KY; grandchildren: Brittany, Elizabeth, Katelyn Lang, Aimee, Christian, Savannah Meador, Shelby Sanders; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday (4/20) at 1:00 PM in St. Peter’s Anglican Church. Burial will follow in MeadowWood Memorial Park. For friends who wish, the family suggests memorial donations to St. Peter’s Anglican Church, 4784 Thomasville Rd., Tallahassee, FL 32309 in lieu of flowers.
