Beverly K. Nylen

Beverly Keyes Nylen, 76, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 16, 2014. She was born in Springfield, Massachusetts and lived in Tallahassee for 35 years. Prior to her retirement, she worked in various doctors’ offices in Tallahassee, most recently working for Dr. Myrle Grate for 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis E. Keyes, Sr. and Marjorie S. Keyes, and her brother Thomas F. Keyes. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, John R. Nylen, Sr., her children, Karen N. Dedering (Raymond), Robert J. Nylen (Brenda), John R. Nylen, Jr. (Lisa) and Kimberly N. Steadman (Joseph) and her brother Francis E. Keyes, Jr. (Carol), and 5 grandchildren, John R. Nylen III, Robert J. Nylen, Jr., Mallory A. Nylen, Sydney A. Steadman and Mia N. Steadman.

Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2014 2:00 PM at Culley’s MeadowWood Memorial Park at 700 Timberlane Road. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Covenant Hospice, 1921 Capital Circle NE, Tallahassee, Florida 32308.

Beverly’s family would like to thank Karen McNeill and the staff of Broadview and Deb Simmons and Tabitha Whitten, for the help and support they have given the family in the previous months.
