The daughter of James L. and Nilene (Bookout) Fanning, she was born October 25, 1931 in Green City, Missouri.
She leaves her children, Larry Taylor and his wife, Debbie; Peggy Schmidt and her husband, Bill; Gene Taylor and his wife, Tina; Tom Taylor and his wife, Kim; and Mendy Potterfield and her husband, Jeff. Numerous beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive her.
Preceding her were her parents; one brother, James Fanning, Jr.; and two sisters, Doris Jean Cruz and Mary Ruth Head.
Beverly grew up in the Browning, Missouri area and spent most of her adult life raising her family in Monroe City, Missouri. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and enjoyed growing flowers, fishing, and following her beloved St. Louis Cardinals. She was devoted to her dog, Yogi who was a wonderful companion.
Beverly was sweet, kind, strong, and deeply loved by her family and everyone who knew her. She passed away peacefully, on her own terms, with Elvis singing gospel tunes and family by her side.
The family will hold a private memorial service.
