

With heavy hearts, we announce the tragic passing of Sgt. Brandon Scott Rudlaff (US Army) on June 20, 2024, in Tacoma, Washington. Born on November 28, 1997, Brandon was a beloved native of Tallahassee, Florida.
Brandon graduated from Leon High School in 2016, where he was a dedicated member of the lacrosse team and the JROTC program. His leadership and commitment to excellence were evident from a young age, culminating in his achievement of becoming an Eagle Scout.
Brandon's passion for playing video games was well-known among his friends and family, bringing joy and camaraderie to those around him. His love for gaming was matched only by his devotion to serving our country as a soldier in the United States Army. His bravery and dedication to his fellow soldiers and his country were exemplary, and he served with honor and distinction.
He is survived by his loving parents, Scott Rudlaff and Annette Boyd; his siblings, Kat Rudlaff and Dylan Rudlaff; his paternal grandparents, John and Midge Rudlaff; his maternal grandparents, Tim and Alicia Graap; and his uncle and godfather, Steve Rudlaff and his wife Dana.
Brandon's kindness, courage, and dedication will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His spirit and legacy will forever remain in our hearts.
A memorial service to honor Brandon's life and service will be held at the Tallahassee National Cemetery on Monday, July 22, 2024, at 1:00 pm. Following the service, the family will receive friends for a gathering at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, located at 1737 Riggins Road, Tallahassee.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Leon High School JROTC or the St. Paul UMC Cub Scouts/Boy Scouts #115.
