Bryan was born February 9, 1979 in Greenville, North Carolina and was raised in Tallahassee, Florida. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1997. At Lincoln, Bryan was captain of the golf team, was an All-Big Bend awardee, and received the Unsung Hero award for his ability to “always brighten your day.”
Bryan graduated from Florida State University in 2001 with a business degree and, from an early age, was a proud Seminole. Bryan’s dreams of a career in golf were derailed by injury and illness.
Throughout his life, Bryan appreciated nature and the outdoors and enjoyed fishing for, catching, cooking, and eating seafood. He was an avid sports fan, both as a participant and an enthusiast, and had a long and unabashed love for all things Tom Brady. Bryan was a sensitive and trusting soul and the simple things in life brought him joy.
Bryan was a loving, affectionate, and caring son with a friendly, engaging personality to all who knew him. He loved and appreciated all members of his family and looked forward to family times together.
He is survived by his parents, Jon and Geralyn Rogers; Sister, Kristin Thwaites (Andy); niece, Ava Rose and nephew, Ace William. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Diane Scaccia (Ralph), John Cimino (Rachel) and Joseph Cimino (Lynne).
Bryan will be deeply and dearly missed as his hopes and dreams were sadly cut short.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated for Bryan on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 3 pm at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Tallahassee. The Mass can be viewed via Livestream at Good Shepherd’s website: https://goodshepherdparish.org and will be archived for future viewing.
