

Carl was born June 28, 1938, in Bainbridge, Ga to Carl Leo Daffin Sr. and Mabel Green Daffin. He lived his early childhood in Chattahoochee Florida where he attended Chattahoochee Elementary and High School until his senior year. At that time, he went to Emory at Oxford College in Covington, Ga where he completed his high school senior year and also earned college credits. Carl graduated from Emory University and Emory Dental School in Atlanta, Ga. He served two years in the military.
A dedicated dentist, Carl served the Tallahassee community for over 30 years with compassion, skill, and unwavering commitment to improving the lives of his patients. His work left a lasting mark on generations of families and his gentle presence in the office will be remembered by all who knew him.
Carl was an avid nature photographer, animal lover, and sports fan. He loved Chocolate Chip cookies and good food.
Carl is survived by his beloved wife, Faye Daffin and his devoted sister, Luna Elizabeth Daffin (Lou). He was a loving husband, a caring brother, and a trusted professional who touched many lives with his warmth and integrity.
A private service will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Carl’s memory.
He will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
