

Carlos Samuel Stephens, age 85, passed away on May 24, 2023, in Tallahassee, Florida. He was born July 4, 1937 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Marion and Joyce Stephens. He grew up in Little Rock and attended public schools. He graduated from Little Rock Central High School in 1955. After graduation, he joined the
United States Air Force, spending 4 yrs in Wethersfield, Essex, England. After being discharged, he attended, Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Arkansas. After returning to Little Rock, he began a career Of 35 years in business sales and marketing with Ralston Purina, and Red Diamond companies. Carlos moved from Little Rock to Clearwater, Florida, to Denver Colorado, Dothan, Alabama, and
Destin, Florida.
Carlos was preceded in death by his parents, brother, M.L. Stephens Jr (Springfield, MO), son, Carlos Jr. Destin, Florida. He is survived by his wife, Sharon, of 64 years, sister, Kay Stephens of Calico Rock, Arkansas, daughter Sherri Johnson, and husband, David of Tallahassee, son, Scott Stephens and wife, Wendy of Atlanta, GA. Carlos has 6 grandchildren, Matthew, Stephanie Johnson, Taylor, Patrick, Charlie, and Bradley Stephens of Atlanta, GA.
Carlos was a member of Destin, UMC and Living Forever Sunday School class for 30 years. He was a 32nd degree Mason and Shriner of Schmitar Temple, Little Rock, Arkansas. Razorback football. Go Hogs!!!
