In loving memory of Grandma Barber. You will be in my heart for all eternity.

She sang
She sang
She sang
Until the ones she left in the meadow
Stopped and settled
God saw I was getting tried,
And a cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around me
And whispered, “come live with me.”
With tearful eyes you watched,
And saw me pass away.
Although you love me dearly.
You could not make me stay.
My golden heart stopped beating,
My hard working hands at rest
God broke your heart to prove
He only takes the best
God will love me and keep me
Until we meet again
In a field of beautiful flowers
I'll keep the date in pen
As if you were to meet me tomorrow
In that beautiful field of flowers
Fall asleep under my millions of twinkling lights
Dream, dream, dream.
And when you wake, I'll be there with my glossy eyed beam
To give you a reason to rise and blow some steam
Sit on the shores and take in my breeze
As I comfort your sorrows
With your head held high
Stand up and wave goodbye
And know I lived my life for you
And it's time you do so too.
