She was born in Americus, GA, had lived in the Atlanta area, making Tallahassee her home in 1977. Carol touched the lives of so many people as a Nursing Instructor at Tallahassee Community College. She loved her family most of all and was known as “Mimi” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Bronwood Williams, her daughters, Flo Schmidt, Melody Martin and Brenda Lundberg, a son, Steven Williams, her sister, Fay Coleman, eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kim Donner.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Monday, March 14, 2011 at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Road. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd. 32308.
