After Sam retired, he and Carol moved back to Columbus and later, to Battle Creek. When Sam passed away in 1992, Carol came back to Columbus. Carol will be remembered for the love she shared with Sam. They were devoted parents to Chris and Sue and were very proud of their individual achievements.
