I used to be the owner Boulevard Gunshop in Rahway New Jersey and I sold service revolvers to the Rahway Police Department.  This is how I met Charlie, as he was in charge of the firearms.  After a while we became good friends and I kept in touch with him when he moved to Las Vegas.  I am extremely sad  with his death.  Charlie was a great guy and would do anything to help you.  I'm really going to miss him. My sincere condolences to Ginger and other family members.

He was my godfather and Uncle. We had many great times building the "Crows Nest". Having lived life myself at "50" We had good times "HIGH ON THE MO UNTAIN"  I have a mansion of memories and  I just might crawl through the window and sleep there tonight. "BUD as I know him fills many of those rooms. My only regrets with him he never got to meet my children, Adrian would have loved his stories and Georgeanne would have gotten his protection! He would have loved my daughter. In any case I do wish he would have been there for the last winter hunt at the cabin with Lou and myself. I have missed him for a long time andf will remember and respect him always. His Godson.... Stephen.

Charlie was my overnight shift partner when I was in uniform.  Couldn't ask for a better friend, after our shift many times we would go to my house for breakfast.  Charlie treated this like supper and would have a rum and coke instead of coffee.  He knew how to make this backward life work.   Our condolences to Ginger and all of his family.
