Charles G Phenix

He is survived by his loving wife and soulmate of 67 years of marriage, Dorothy Lipsky Phenix; daughter Linda Sheldon and her husband George, daughter Nancy Viscomi and her husband Carl, son Dennis Phenix and his wife Laura , son Roger Phenix and his wife Kimberly; grandchildren, Brittany (Bryan) O’ Gorman, Ryan (Leigh) Phenix, Courtney Sheldon ( Dan Urbanske), Shelby Phenix (Marcus Arthur), Chip Sheldon (Rebecca Gardner); and great-grandchildren, Greyson and Bennett Phenix, Liam and Patrick O’ Gorman. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Delores Johnson and Rene’e Rahilly.

Charles honorably served in the Unites States Air force for 4 years. After his honorable discharge from the Air force, he went to work as an air traffic controller. Those who had the pleasure of knowing him knew that his work was his passion. Above all, he cherished his family dearly and will be greatly missed.

In accordance with Charles' wishes, the family will hold a private service at a later date. Charles will be laid to rest in Tallahassee National Cemetery alongside his fallen brothers and sisters.
