Son of the late Robert Janus and Rose Janus. Marc (Mud) was a self-employed Artist and mason for over 30 Years. A contractor in Tallahassee Florida, Marc’s work could be seen in homes and businesses all over North Florida. He was also a skilled violinist, playing first chair in high school.
Marc was known for his limestone sculptures, concrete and copper artwork, as well as shooting his cannon at parties. Marc had a love for nature, music, and the outdoors. He never met a stranger, finding great joy in handing out flowers to people throughout his day, and his favorite pastime listening to the Blues at the Bradfordville Blues club.
He is survived by his mother, Rose Janus, of Tallahassee, Florida; Son, Portland Janus of Tallahassee, Florida; Brother, Robert Janus of Huntsville, Alabama; and cousin, Brenda Vogel of Syracuse New York; as well as a plethora of close friends, He was predeceased by his brothers Gregory Scot Janus and Mark Anthony Janus.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bradfordville Blues Club at a later date.
