Colby was born on October 19, 1999 in Gainesville, Florida. He was the son of Mitchell and Kimberly Kingston. His family moved to Tallahassee, FL in 2003 where he attended Roberts Elementary, Montford Middle School and Lincoln High School.
Colby’s zest for life was evident from the moment he was born. He brought laughter and mischief everywhere he went and, like his father, never missed an opportunity for a good prank. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved spending his free time hunting, fishing, and boating, but his real passion was spending time with family and friends. Colby was employed by Barineau Heating and Air Conditioning as a technician and was working towards his HVAC Certification. Colby truly lived every day to the fullest creating fond and lasting memories for loved ones to carry with them. He was a devoted son, brother and friend. He was known and loved by many for his quick wit, contagious smile, wild soul, kind heart and slick dance moves.
Colby will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Kimberly (Greenawalt) Kingston; brothers, Nathan Rohr and Dane Kingston; sister, Lauren (Ryan) Lee; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth McConnell; paternal grandmother, Sherry Fraily; aunts, Valerie Greenawalt, Catherine Greenawalt, Mary Gale Kingston-Stone, and Janet (Hugh) Kane; uncles, Eric (Melissa) Greenawalt and Francis Greenawalt; nephew, Colton Lee; niece, Jessa Lee; and numerous cousins.
Colby was preceded in death by his father, Mitchell Kingston; paternal grandfather, William Kingston; maternal grandfather, Thomas Greenawalt; aunts, Patricia and Lisa Kingston; and uncle, Andrew Kingston.
