Colonel Robert R. Anderson III, USA (Ret.)

Bob was a graduate of Dickinson College Carlisle, PA and resided in Florida all his adult life. He was a retired Storage Programmer for the State of Florida in the Technology office. He retired from the US Army as a Korean Veteran and he served as the Army's Big Bend Liaison Officer for the United States Military Academy from 1973 -1983

Bob was born on 08/31/1928 in Pittsburgh, PA to parents Chauncey W. and Elizabeth T. Anderson and a brother who preceded him in death Chauncey 'Andy' Anderson

Also preceding him in death was his son Robert R 'Rob' Anderson IV

He is survived by his daughter Stephanie E Anderson, Grandsons Adam N Anderson (Summer), Dillon J Anderson. Great-grandson's Gavin G Anderson, Nolan R Anderson and their mother Tera Anderson.

Bob was an avid Saltwater fisherman who loved catching reds, trout, flounder, scalloping, golfing and hanging out with friends and loved ones.

He had boundless friends for which he cherished and he would want to be noted Judy Stallworth, Nell and Roger Hewitt, Richard Brickey and all his golfing buddies at Hilaman Golf course 'The HOGS '

His Service and interment will be at the Tallahassee National Cemetery on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 11:00AM.
