My heart and prayers go out to Mr. Keith and all the kids and grandkids. May God wrap his loving arms around all of you and bring you peace and comfort in this difficult time. Connie was def one of the *real deal* Jesus followers and meant a lot to me. We were a part of Emerge in Tally together, and she was a true friend that went beyond just Sunday services and church functions- she really cared and loved like Jesus. I enjoyed serving alongside her in kids ministry and more. You know she spent time with Jesus on the regular because she was so calm and relaxed. Even in the face of big struggles and just real life, she had a grounded peace. She was someone you wanted to be around because she was so go with the flow, unbothered, happy to help, listen and truly love without condition- reminds me a lot of how Jesus did. I know God used her to accomplish great things for his purposes, and even her seemingly small acts of kindness and service truly meant the world. From taking time to help me pick up some furniture to being someone I felt loved enough by to ask for prayer when I was *strug-ga-ling*, to generously making time regularly to go to lunch w me and listen to ALL my 20/30something year old anxieties. Thank GOD for Ms. Connie!!!! So humble, authentic, always putting others before herself, full of faith and faithful. Sad we didn't catch up enough after we moved. God put her on my heart last week as he did often reminding me to pray for her healing. Ah I know she's totally living it up now with Jesus and the rest of the best! Love you guys. Praying for his comfort and presence as you grieve this loss and celebrate the gift that is Connie. 💖

always being a sweet classmate. I think I remember her playing the clarinet in the marching band.

Connie was a special person. She was filled with faith, kindness, love and laughter. She loved her family and found special joy in her grandchildren. No matter what she was going through, she faced it with a positive attitude, grace and dignity. I'll miss our serious talks and funny texts. Ed and I are praying for God to give peace and comfort to Keith and their children. You will be missed, my friend.

Connie was such an inspiration to many myself included, I  am a better person for knowing her.  To Connie's family, she will now be watching over y'all so be good 😀.  I will see you again my special sister in Christ.

To those who had the blessing of loving and being loved by Connie, my heart is deeply saddened to hear this news. I can only imagine your profound sorrow, even in the midst of rejoicing that she is now safely in the arms of her beloved Jesus.  My heart and prayers are for God’s comforting presence and tender care to surround you all as you walk this grief journey. 

What a beautiful testimony of a life well lived. I know her impact will continue for years to come, as God uses her life and example to encourage and strengthen many, as reading this has me.

I have so many wonderful memories of our special friendship during our growing-up years—we laughed and cried, dreamed and named our future children,  exchanged clothes and fashion tips, threw parties, wore matching outfits as part of the Fantastic Four, and had crazy fun cruising around in her “Gordie.”  We had countless sleepovers and made it a tradition to stop for biscuits at Hardee’s every Friday morning our senior year before school.  Most importantly,  we encouraged each other to keep growing in our faith and to hold fast to Jesus. I will always be thankful that Connie is forever a part of my story, and I celebrate her now as she has finished her race and has earned her crown – which I am sure she will joyfully lay at His feet.

Connie was an amazing loving and kind woman. I am saddened by her passing yet joyous that she is now with the Lord and is no longer suffering. ( Though I'm sure, even in her suffering she was gracious and joyful).

Mrs. Connie was one of the most kind and pure figures throughout the majority of my childhood. She was an unwavering servant of God & she left a positive impact on the lives of so many people through her ministry. She will be missed 🕊️🤍

We are very unfortunate that we loss you here on Earth Connie, but I know your up in heaven dancing, pain free, and definitely talking to all that is in heaven with you. I remember when we went to a Woman's conference and we were leaving and we were stuck in the parking garage. Leia said " I am getting sick and not feeling well" I jumped out of the car threw the cones out of the way. Stopped traffic and you just moved right in traffic. Everyone was cheering and honking. I jumped in the car and we laughed all the way home. Praying for Keith, Aaron,  Leia, and Dacey for comfort.  We love you Gibbs family.

Connie was a childhood friend.  Loved her smile and her laugh...I have always remembered that the first time I saw snow was on her birthday spend the night party..5th grade.   Prayers for all of you...she will always be in my heart.
