

Conrad Lee Umberger, age 83, of High Springs, Florida. Born on July 4, 1941, in Paris, IL; died March 30, 2025, in Gainesville, FL. Preceded in death by (mother)Catherine Maude Hunt Hutson and (father) Herman Wade Umberger & (wife) Ruth Maud Umberger. Survived by (2) sons; Bradley Ray & (wife) Kim & David Lee Umberger; (mother of sons) Joan E. Highsmith-Smith; (3) stepsons Jimmie Rodgers & (wife) Virginia, Chris Kenner &(wife) Judy, Michael Kenner & (wife) Amy Kenner. (13) grandchildren: Quinton, Leo, Karalyn Umberger (Brad & Kim); Logan Umberger (David); Zachary Kenner (Mike & Amy); Ryan and Ashley Kenner, and stepdaughter Ashley Miller (Chris); J.P. Rodgers & Jamie Ashley, Carrollin Wiggers, Elizabeth Rodgers, Kaleigh and Caleb Rodgers (Jimmie). (Sister to Joan) Patricia Craven & (husband) Frank Craven, (niece) Delanie Craven & (nephew) Scott Craven.
Conrad was born and raised in Paris, Il and graduated from Paris High school in 1959. He enlisted in the Navy and served until 1963. He graduated from Florida State University in 1967. Worked for Rhodes Furniture Co. and State of Florida during his career, retiring in 2005. During his lifetime he enjoyed hunting, fishing, jogging, tailgating at FSU games, beach time, pool time, grilling out, gardening/landscaping, and an occasional round of golf. The loss of his presence will be felt by many. He is in his eternal home. Rest in Peace.
