She was born in Thomasville, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Horace Griffin and Valida (Taylor) Griffin. She was a graduate of Leon High School in Tallahassee and married Cecil Aubrey Carroll on December 27, 1959. Dale worked as a secretary in the State of Florida Division of Forestry.
In addition to her husband, Cecil Carroll, she is survived by her children; Aubrey (Teresa) Carroll; Keith (Synthia) Carroll; Craig (Evie) Carroll; and Angel (Kevin) Tuten. Her brothers; Len, Ronnie, and Chris. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Justin, Amber, Alissa, Keira, Kaeden, and Erica; and her great-grandchild, Emma.
Dale love to travel, enjoyed camping, gardening, FSU football, and finding new antique stores and flea markets to explore.
A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at White Church Primitive Baptist 1900 Lawhon Road, Woodville, Florida, 32305. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM followed by burial in White Church Cemetery, Woodville.
