He is survived by his children: Curt and Wendy Trawick, Liza and Jeff Smith, Carrin Trawick, and Joanna and Matthew Martin; his grandchildren: Olivia Smith, Jake and Hannah Higdon, Tyler Stachurski, Dusten Stachurski, Drew Colburn, Madison Martin and Jared Martin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry E. Searcy Jr. and Louise M. Searcy; his wife, Dianna Searcy; and his brothers, Wayne Searcy and Buddy Searcy.
Dan leaves a void that can never be filled, but his spirit endures in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery, 843 Piedmont Drive, Tallahassee, FL. A time of visitation with the family will be held at Culley’s, 700 Timberlane Road at 4:00 p.m. following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Big Bend Hospice in memory of his wife, Dianna Searcy.
