

Dave was born in Newnan, Georgia, the 5th of 7 children. He was raised in Palmetto, Georgia, and Tallahassee, Florida. Dave proudly served in the Marine Corps, was a member of the Drum and Bugle Corps in Albany, Georgia and was honorably discharged in 1975.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn Brazier; his nine children, Connie Brazier of Jacksonville, Florida, Melissa Brazier of Tallahassee, Laura Brazier of Springfield, Mass., Carrie Brazier of Tallahassee, David W. Brazier of Wilmington, N.C., Debra Brazier of Salem, Oregon, Allen Brazier of Tallahassee, Allen Bolen of Tallahassee, Lee Bolen of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and 18 grandchildren. Dave is also survived by two brothers and four sisters, Carla Mills of Jasper, Tenn., Penny Wheat of Tallahassee, William C. Brazier, Jr. of Houston, Texas, Paul Brazier of Tallahassee, Nancy Howarter of Hilliard, Florida, and Ann Dubois of Tallahassee.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents, William C. Brazier, Sr. and Inez P. Brazier.
Dave was a wonderful husband and loving father. He was dearly loved by family and friends. By all, he was known for his heart of gold. In lieu of flowers, the family sincerely believes it would be Dave's wish that everyone donate blood. Dave was a regular blood donor and strongly supported the need to donate. Visitation will be Friday, May 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. EDT at Cully's MeadowWood Funeral Home; 1737 Riggins Road in Tallahassee. Services will be Saturday, May 22, at 11 a.m. at Culley's.
