David Leroy Bryant

David spent much of his life near the ocean, which was both his livelihood as a Merchant Marine Captain with a Master Unlimited License and his passion. He captained vessels around the world. His career allowed him to see incredible places, experience unforgettable adventures, and witness things that most people only dream of. His love of the water continued throughout his life, including through the many personal boats he owned and enjoyed fishing scalloping, and watching the sunset.

David is survived by his brother, Darren; and David's children, Adam Stockett and his wife, Bridget, Josh Stockett, Meghan Dawkins and her husband, Chris, Jennifer Bracken and Farrah Boehnlein and her husband, Josh. He is also survived by his grandchildren, who will carry his memory forward.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Darrell and Dale.

David will be remembered for his giving spirit, his lifelong connection to the water and the full life he lived.

The family will have a private memorial for his passing, but all who loved him are encouraged to enjoy an ocean sunset in his memory.
