David Giddens, Jr.

David proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1960 to 1964, based at Camp Lejeune, South Carolina. He was awarded medals for his skill as an Expert Marksman, a testament to his discipline and precision that would carry through every chapter of his life.

Following his military service, David built a respected career as an automotive executive, bringing the same sharp instincts and drive to the business world.

David had a passion for speed and the outdoors — he loved racing fast cars, playing golf, and hunting. Those who knew him will remember a man who lived boldly and pursued what he loved with his whole heart.

David is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Mary Ann Giddens; his daughter, Stacey Reinstein, and her husband, Jared Reinstein; his grandchildren, Raina Reinstein Vincent and her husband, Brady Vincent, and Gage Reinstein; and his great-grandson, Atlas Vincent. He is also survived by his siblings, Sherie Rollins and Robert Hilton. He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry T. Giddens.

A service honoring David's life will be held at Tallahassee National Cemetery, 5015 Apalachee Parkway, on August 26 at 9:45 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

David will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
