David Michael Weedall, 52 of Tallahassee, Florida passed away Saturday, 12 March 2016 at Big Bend Hospice House. A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he came to Tallahassee following his retirement from the Army after 23 years in 2005. He was a Christian, Desert Storm veteran and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal. His favorite pass times included fishing, shooting and spending time with his family. He was a member of both the NRA and the American Legion.
He joins his sister: Christie Weedall; and his parents: Marion Weedall, and Donald & Ruth Weedall. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter and son-in-law: Amanda and Trent Comer and their child "B2;" his son and daughter-in-law: David MK and Taylor Weedall and their children: Kinsley, Dawson and Dayson; the mother of his children: Debra Weedall; brothers: Bob Walden (wife Cindy) and Lee Walden; mother-in-law: Shirley Cheatham; and close friends: Kevin & Judy Johnston.
David lived his life with an amount of honor most can only hope to match, which was only equaled by his love for his family and friends, as well, as his generosity to those less fortunate than himself. Above all else, he was an incredibly loving father who would do anything for his children. Those who knew him count themselves fortunate to have done so.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Big Bend Hospice of Leon County, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd, Tallahassee, Florida 32308 or The Tallahassee American Legion 229 Lake Ella Dr, Tallahassee, Florida 32303.
