

Dennise was born December 31, 1956 in Key West, Florida. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Barbara Suarez Clark, grandmother, Grace Butler, “Nana”, and her uncle Theodore Suarez.
Ms.Parker retired from the State of Florida, Department of Children and Families (DCF) after a career of more than thirty years, serving the citizens of Florida as an Executive Leader. During her career of service to others, she was the Health and Rehabilitative Services (HRS) District Two Contract Administrator, Regional Processing Center Director, Budget Director, Human Resources Director, and Assistant Secretary for Administration. In retirement, she stayed active in the community by volunteering her time helping several charities and countless individuals. Dennise was active in her church, Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Tallahassee.
Dennise was a proud native of Key West, “the Conch Republic”. She loved reading, sports (particularly softball and NBA basketball), visiting with friends and family, and remaining physically active.
Dennise is survived by her father, Denny O. Clark, Sr., Aunt Beulah Suarez, sister Cheryl Robinson, and brothers Larry Bass (Sandy) and Denny O. Clark (Filiz). In addition to her siblings, she was a beloved Aunt to nieces and nephews. Colin, Justin, and Venecia (Cheryl), Latoya and Danielle (Larry), and Emanuel and Daniel (Denny), and goddaughters Brittany Gardener and Dennise Lyric Sutton. She is also survived by her cousins Vernon Hargray (Vanessa), Judy Clark and Michael Suarez as well as a host of devoted family members and friends.
A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Dennise will be held Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32308. Friends will have the opportunity to share memories during the celebration.
A memorial service will occur Monday, August 23, 2021 at 11:00 am at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 224 N Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Tallahassee, Florida 32301.
