Diana Cheryl LaFleur (Miller), born December 7, 1945, passed on April 16, 2026, at the age of 80. She married John William LaFleur, Sr. in 1963, sharing a life together until his passing in 1999. She remained devoted to his memory in the years that followed.
She is survived by her son, John, his wife, Nicole, her granddaughter, Ginger, step-granddaughter Alexandria (Lexie), and step-great-grandson Niall, all of whom she cared for deeply. Being a grandmother was one of Diana’s greatest joys, and she embraced every part of that role with love, pride, and a deep sense of connection. She is also remembered fondly by her extended family of nieces, nephews, and their families, as well as many dear friends, particularly in Florida and in upstate New York. In her later years, Diana resided with her nephew, Vincent Morgan, and his wife, Jill, who opened their home to her and provided care, comfort and companionship during that time.
Diana served for many years as the office and business manager for her husband’s company. After his passing, she continued her working years in retail, where she brought dedication and care to every role she held. Deeply involved in her church communities, Diana found purpose in teaching Sunday school and guiding children in their faith. Her beliefs were a steady source of strength throughout her life. One of the songs closest to her heart was “Amazing Grace,” which brought her great comfort and reflection over the years.
In accordance with her wishes, Diana will be cremated, and her remains will be interred privately with family. In her memory, take a moment to cherish those you love.
