My Aunt DeeDee was my very favorite Aunt on my dad's side! I baby-sat for her sometimes and when the kids were asleep, I got to look through all her books. Like my own mom, she was very self-educated; through all her voracious reading! (She and my mom also enjoyed watching eagles and their nesting, live!) I so enjoyed the last several years reading her posts on facebook, getting reacquainted with her again through private messages, and feeling such kinship, as we both had so much of the same outlook on life. Like me, she was passionate about fairness and justice and really cared about current events. I am so sad that she left so young and my heart goes out to Terra, Tina, Tammy, Tim, and Tracy and her grandkids (and stepchildren). Rest in Peace Dear Aunt DeeDee. I love you.

Diana was a beautiful women who was not afraid to stand up for what she believed. She was warm, caring and a loving friend to family and friends. It was always a pleasure to visit with her because you were always welcomed. I will miss her a lot, but know she is happy to be with her beloved Jim.
