Born on July 23, 1956, in Litchfield, Illinois, Diane lived a life full of warmth, devotion and service. She was married to the love of her life, Martin Ritchie, for 50 years. Together they built a family centered on love, laughter, and enduring support.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Martin; her beloved son, Jason (wife, Kim); and her three cherished grandsons, Tyler, Parker, and Preston, whose lives she enriched with endless love and encouragement.
A dedicated Registered Nurse for over 25 years, Diane brought comfort, care and compassion to countless lives throughout her career. Beyond her profession, her heart belonged to her family. She cherished every moment spent with them doing the things that they loved.
She also leaves behind her brother, Scott Davis; her niece, Sarah Tomblin, with whom she shared a deeply special bond, along with Sarah’s husband, Dan, and their children, Brianna and Nathan; nephews, Andre Ritchie (Vyoma) and Brandon; and nieces, Heather, Ashley, and Mandy; and brothers-in-law, Glen Ritchie and Ray Ritchie (Linda).
Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Carolyn Davis; her sister, Brenda Holley; and her nephew, Ryan Ritchie.
She found great joy in life’s simple pleasures—sunny days at the beach, tending her garden, cheering on her grandsons in their sports-especially baseball, and rooting for her beloved Atlanta Braves. She was never far from her faithful dog, Bucky, who remained her loyal companion through it all.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Diane’s life will be held at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home, 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32312 on June 11, 2025 at 11 a.m.
