I will miss my Brother in Christ; I will be reminded each time I pass the dock where the Rum Runner sat. I always looked to see if Don was down and If I caught any fish I would look again on the way back to see if he was out and about, if he was and wanted any fish. I gave him what he wanted and was glad to do it. Even if I did not catch any fish and Don was about, we would talk about fishing. We had intended to go fishing together but that will have to wait for another time and place.

Dad, we had a special relationship. Not only because I inherited your name, but I think you showed me the wise, authoritative, driven aspects of yourself as well as the vulnerable, humble aspects. The foundation of ethics and principles that you instilled in me have made me the person I am today. I am truly an extension of you. I Love You Dad. D.P.

Patty and Paul, I did not know your dad, but he must have been great to raise such great children. May God's arms comfort you in your sadness, and know that I am lifting you up in prayer during this time of grief. Hugs from Dayton.
