Dozier Bartlett

Son of the late Roy O. Bartlett and Minnie McAllister Bartlett, he was born on November 9, 1933 in Tallahassee. He was a retired MSgt in the US Air Force and also a retiree of Florida State University.

He was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie (Margie) Register Bartlett and siblings Herbert McAllister, O.M. (Doc) McAllister, Roy Earl Bartlett, Florine Freeman, Itara Yates, Christine Mitchell and Marjorie Beane.

He is survived by his son Gary Bartlett (Teresa); grandchildren Christie (Joey) Davis and Ryan (Ashley) Bartlett; great grandchildren, Sy Dozier Bartlett, Virginia Grace Davis and Thomas Joseph Davis; and siblings Annette Lee and W. F. McAllister.

The visitation will be held Sunday, August 14, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Road in Tallahassee. Funeral service will be held 10:00 am Monday, August 15, 2011 in the funeral home chapel.
