Born in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, October 7, 1935, then moved to the town he loved best, Cincinnati, Ohio. When he was nine, in 1945, he moved to New York City where he lived and worked for the next 41 years. In 1962 he wed Margaret Keenan. Two girls and one boy were produced by that union. He was employed by the NYC Transit Authority for 23 years as a bus driver, retiring in June of 1986. He became a resident of Tallahassee in July, 1986.
He is survived by niece Helen Forenza of Kings Park, New York.
He was an active square dancer, and belonged to three different square dance clubs. He was an active member of The Immaculate Heart of Mary Latin Mass Church since his arrival in Tallahassee in 1986.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 10:00 am, at St. Andrew's Church: 401 Timberlane Rd.
