Elizabeth "Beth" Marie Butterfield, 51 of Tallahassee died on December 9th, 2018 after a five month struggle with breast cancer. She was born in Detroit and moved to Tallahassee in 1970 with her parents Jerry and Donna Butterfield of St. George Island. In addition to her parents, she is survived by brothers: Mark Butterfield of Pickerington, Ohio; Jeffrey Butterfield of Tallahassee; Gregory Butterfield of Coral Springs, FL; and sister; Jennifer Weeks of Tallahassee. Beth is also survived by nine nephews and nieces and the love of her life, Robert Fulghum of Tallahassee.
Having been born with cerebral palsy and epilepsy, Beth lived a very independent life and was well recognized throughout the community. The family requests that in lieu of flowers and to honor Beth, donations be made to Big Bend Hospice ( 1723 Mahan Center Blvd, Tallahassee, FL 32308-5428.
A celebration of life and memorial service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, December 13th, 2018 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 4665 Thomasville Road, Tallahassee, FL 32309. A reception will be held immediately following the service.
