

Oredia was born in Bloxham, Florida on October 13, 1931, to William & Lucille Bennett. She graduated from Leon High School and after graduating she married and moved to California working in an aircraft factory where she wired the dash and controls inside the cockpit of the B-52 Bombers. After the Korean war ended, she and her husband started Mobile Home Industries in Jacksonville, FL. After the sale of the business, she moved to Tallahassee and worked as the office manager of Morgan Electric for 25 years. Oredia served her whole adult life in the children's ministry at church. She was a member of Bradfordville First Baptist Church. She had a love and passion for the church, children’s ministry, and her family. She was an integral part of her community and was the definition of southern hospitality.
Oredia is survived by Daughter and Son-in-law, Lea and Mike McAuley; Son and Daughter-in-law, Jay and Jory Hodge; Grandsons: Josh Hodge, Caleb McAuley, and Jacob McAuley; Granddaughters: Nicole Cannon, Erica Ebanks, Julie Hyson, and Jennifer Smith; Great Grandsons: Mckenon Hodge, Ashdon Lizotte, Jack Hyson, Jett Hyson, Jagr Hyson, and Levi Cannon; Great Granddaughters: Skyler Konou, Juniper Smith, and Jenevieve Smith; and great-great grandson: Atlas Hodge.
Ordeia was preceded in death by her parents, four siblings, and loving husband, Clark Hamilton, Sr.
A memorial service for Oredia will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 12:00 pm at Bradfordville First Baptist Church, Tallahassee, FL. Luncheon to follow in McMillian House on church campus.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bradfordville First Baptist Church children’s ministry, Samaritan's Purse, or Big Ben Hospice; all of which were influential in Oredia’s life.
