

Elizabeth Freeman Turner, 95, of Tallahassee, went to be with the Lord on September 26, 2012, with her family by her side.
Born August 18, 1917, in Tallahassee, she was the oldest child of William and Nora B. Freeman.
Elizabeth loved the Lord and served Him faithfully all her life. She taught Sunday School until she was 85 years old. Presently, she was a member of Pioneer Baptist Church.
She had the gift of hospitality and loved entertaining friends and family in her home.
Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Lenton Turner; sisters, Margaret Weir, Minnie Lee Stokley, and Dot Jaillet; brothers, Bill Freeman, Lyndell Freeman, and T. J. Freeman; and sons-in-law, Ken Jaillet and Charles Pumphrey.
She is survived by daughters, Gail Jaillet, Tallahassee and Sandy Pumphrey, Seminole, Florida; a son, Len Turner(Lilla), Tallahassee; a special niece and care-giver, Robbie Raynes (Paul), Tallahassee; a brother, Robert Freeman (Barbara), Panacea, eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Culley's Riggins Road Chapel. Funeral Service will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Culley's Riggins Road Chapel with burial to follow at Culley's Meadowwood Memorial Park on Timberlane Road.
The family would like to thank Big Bend Hospice for loving care given to our Mother/Aunt. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Big Bend Hospice in her memory.
Arrangements are under the direction of Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home in Tallahassee, Florida.
