Born Emily Evelyn McDonough on March 19, in Bronx, NY. Moved to the Rosendale area as a small girl and graduated from Kingston High School. Married Raymond DuBois in 1943 and lived her married life in High Falls, NY. She was a long time Episcopalian and a member of Christ The King Church in Stone Ridge. Some of her accomplishments included performing in a local threater group and being appointed Inspector of Elections for the Town Of Rosendale in 1967. She loved to bowl and was an avid gardener. After her husband passed away in 1992 she moved to Tallahassee, Florida.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary T. Gilpin, Kingston, NY and Victoria L. Maloy, Tallahassee, Florida; six grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
Arrangements are under the direction of Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home in Tallahassee, Florida.
