Erin was a student at Jack Britt High School and was a member of JROTC and The Drama Club.
She was preceded in death by her father, U.S. Army SF MSG. Shawn Elliot Simmons, on June 29, 2008.
She is survived by her mother, Tricia Skinner Simmons, of the home; a brother, Justin L. Simmons, of the home; paternal grandmother, Alberta Simmons of Tallahassee, FL; maternal grandmother, Joan Whitehead, of Boston, MA; step-grandmothers, Roserita Hill Simmons of Fayetteville, NC and Linda A. Simmons of Columbia, SC and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday April 22, 2012 at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home, Timberlane Road Chapel. Interment will follow at Culley’s MeadowWood Memorial Park.
