Erma "Sandy" Martin

Sandy lived in Tallahassee for 64 years. She belonged to Southwood Baptist Church and was a lifetime member of the Tallahassee Boating Club. Ms. Sandy adored her family and her husband of 52 years, Jimmie Martin. She will be missed by many.

Sandy is preceded in death by her parents, Hannibal and Margaret Dodson; her late husband, Jimmie Martin; her son, Matt Martin; and her brother, Herman Dodson.

She is survived by her daughter, Hope Moore (Donnie); her brother, Thomas Dodson; her grandchildren, James Moore (Melissa) and Joshua Martin; her great-grandchildren, Kelsey Moore, Brian Moore, Dalton Moore, James Martin, and Jace Martin; among other family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 9:00 AM on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Tallahassee Memory Gardens, followed by a celebration of life at Southwood Baptist Church at 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Sandy’s name to your local church.
