Eva Marie McIntosh

Marie was born in Lufkin, Texas on September 11, 1937 the daughter of John Thomas Rice and Alice Barnes Rice. She was a homemaker and a member of Harmony Hill Baptist Church in Lufkin, Texas. Marie was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She loved listening to gospel music, singing in a family quartet and watching westerns. She was better known as Texas Granny.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Milton D. (Bill) Stanaland; and her second husband, James McIntosh; brothers, JT Rice, Yank Rice, Archie Rice, Elvin Rice, Irvin Rice, Ray Rice, and Jim Rice.

Survivors include daughters, Flecia Ware (Allen) of Climax, GA, and Linda Gale Rudd (Ken) of Hosford, FL; grandchildren, Tracy Fitzgerald (Charlie), of Gillette, WY, Christopher Rudd (Melissa) of Hosford, FL, Amy Thomas (Joey) of Climax, GA, and Duncan Rudd (Terah) of Hosford, FL; great grandchildren, Madison Morrison (Sheldon), Bailey Thomas (Maddie), Allie Grace Fitzgerald, Rilee Rudd, Carter Thomas, Sam Fitzgerald, and Bowen Rudd; great-great grandchildren, Brayleigh Kate Thomas and Eden Renee Morrison; brothers, Gilbert Rice, Joe Rice, and Bob Rice (Gayle) all of Lufkin, TX; and sister-in-law, Lydia Rice of Lufkin,TX.
