Well, it has been a long, long time ago. Aunt Evelyn and Uncle George and some of you kids came to the northwest. We were still living in the Dalles. We went to the beach. Mom and Dad and Aunt Evelyn and Uncle George went deep sea fishing for Salmon. They caught a ton of fish. Mom and Aunt Evelyn are trying to hold up this Rod with like 15 salmon hanging on it. Each of them are doing all they can to hold it up and trying to point at the ones they caught. Of course there are a lot of other memories...but this one sticks in my mind. I am so sorry for your loss, she was a beautiful person inside and out...

I was blessed to call this beautiful lady my aunt. Although we didn't see each other often, I have fond memories of the times we traveled to Nebraska and when Uncle George and Aunt Evelyn came to Oregon.
It warms my heart that as her friends and family are saying goodbye there are angels in heaven saying, "Oh look, here she comes."
I couldn't find any pictures but I pulled this one from one of the old movies we've been going through.
Sending my love and prayers to all.

I so wish I had the precious photo from my wedding album at hand but it is with love I think back to Evelyn and my dearest friend in high school, her daughter Cheri. We are lifelong friends and my heart aches thinking of those wonderful memories. God bless you all. Evelyn always had a straight shot to heaven because she was an angel.
