

Floyd deMontmollin, Sr., 86, of Woodville passed away Monday, January 28, 2013.
Visitation will be held 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at Woodville First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Woodville First Baptist Church with interment to follow at the Woodville Cemetery.
Floyd loved the outdoors and traveling in his RV. He also loved Maggie Valley, NC, and would spend seven months there each year living in his RV. He was a 37 year, founding and charter member of the Good Sams Camping Club. He was a member of Woodville First Baptist Church. He retired after 33 years from Murphy Oil USA and after 40 years of service with the Florida Highway Patrol Auxiliary as a Lieutenant with Troop H. He was a Veteran of World War II with a rank of corporal and served as a medic.
Survivors include sons, Frank Trussell, Sr. (Vickie) of Woodville, FL, Donald Trussell (Marianne) of Tallahassee, FL, Ronald Collins, Sr. (Betty Jo) of Jakin, GA, Floyd deMontmollin, Jr. (Cyrinda) of Woodville, FL; and daughter, Rita deMontmollin Shivers (Gary) of Woodville, FL; a friend dear to his heart, Terry Audette of Maggie Valley, NC; brother, James deMontmollin (Sammie Ruth) of Plant City, FL; and numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Floyd was predeceased by his loving wife of 57 years, Margarita Manelli deMontmollin; his parents, Louis and Minnie Lee deMontmollin; brothers, Harry, Gene, George; and sisters, Louise, Thelma and Sarah.
