
She was born on August 16, 1917 in Dukedom, TN and moved to Florida in 1945. The family resided in Port St. Joe for 12 years prior to 1960 and she had resided in Tallahassee since 1979. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother; strong, yet gentle, who left her place on Earth better than she found it.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glyn H. Henley; her sister, Mary Ezma Ridgway and her brother, Novis A. Thacker.
She is survived by her son, Wm. Larry Henley (wife Pam) and her daughter, Peggy Henley, all of Tallahassee; granddaughters, Courtney Henley, M.D. (husband Matt) of Salt Lake City and Brandy Radey (husband Ted) of Denver; plus four great
grandchildren, Magnus, Viveca, Piper and Jack, all of whom she dearly loved.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Culley’s MeadowWood Memorial Park, 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, FL, 23212. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Florida Elks Children’s Therapy
